Who actually shows up - a junior or a senior?
A senior. Our vCIO and vCISO work is delivered by our principals, not outsourced to a graduate. You get the person whose name's on the service.
Can we engage just the vCISO and not the vCIO?
Yes. Some customers have a strong internal technology leader but no security strategy function. vCISO is a standalone engagement.
How does this work alongside our in-house team?
We supplement, not replace. In-house IT leaders get more strategic airtime and a peer to spar with on architecture decisions. In-house managers get a technology voice in the leadership team without hiring a CIO.
